Working mums require balance... between 9 to 5 (or worse), home duties, kids and husbands... it takes a lot and every day is a challenge. Whether you work out of the home, because you want to or you need to, this is a place for working Mums to celebrate, share and help each other... if they can only find the time!!

Mum Knows Breast is a place where mums can go for non-partial, judgement-free advice on breastfeeding. While we agree that breast is best, as mothers we are also aware of the realities of breastfeeding, and aim to support mothers through these realities. Even if you are not a breastfeeding mum, feel free to join and contribute to the forums, blog and photo albums on this group mumspace - after all, the more support for mums the better - particularly when it comes to breastfeeding.

Enter Mumspace, stage left!
Many moons ago I remember hearing those most important words 'You're pregnant".  At the tender age of 18 it was a huge shock to the system, but I was ready to become a Mum.  Now 14yrs later my husband and I have six gorgeous kids.  We have five boys ranging in ages from 14, 11, 9, 5 and 3.  Our only daughter is 18mths old.  I'm a stay at home Mum, who has struggled with the desire to find a job that I can do from home.  I've always dreamt of becoming a writer and spending my days dreaming and typing with my cat sitting on my desk while I type away.  Last October, that dream became reality.  Ok, so I dream about sitting around typing and my cat does sit on my desk but she presses all the buttons on my keyboard, then the help screen comes up...and well yeh thats another story.  I am now a published writer!!  Yay.  I write parenting articles for a Monthly publication for Cairns.  The magazine is called Pak Mag.  www.pakmag.com.au  My children Trey, Bodhi and Aaliyah help me do the monthly DIY art activaty.  So thats fairly exciting.  I now threaten my children.  "If you keep doing that, I'll write an article about it'  I'll let the faces of my teenager and pre teens open to your imagination :)  hehe.  I've also become very interested in Photography.  I can take awesome photos of my gorgeous children, so I do alot of playing around with that.  For my children's christening, I was having trouble finding a suitable thank you card that I liked.  So I created my own.  That was the birth of Mangii's Creation's.  www.mangiicreations.com.au I know create Thank you cards, baby announcements, invitations.  Also photo collages, and digital scrapbooking.  From creating Mangii Creations I also discovered another little outlet, designing websites.  That is a work in progress and I'm still in the very early stages of learning.   Hmmm so that pretty much is me in a nut shell.  I'm excited about the future, I'm proud of my past.  I'm entering so many new phases in my life.  Raising teenagers.  raising a daughter, having my last baby, working from home.  So thats it for my first post.  As you can see, once I start....hmmmm it's hard to stop.  lol xxx Manda

My First Blog
HI All, Well I started this log about 7 months ago...but cant find my other posts...so I'll start again :). I am a 24 yr old mummy of two. My son is 3.5yrs and my daughter is 21months. They are my life and everything I ever hoped for! My hubby and I got married last November, but we have been together for 6 years. We had a beautiful wedding day, it was so special having the kids there with us. Im so glad we waited! For now I am a stay-at-home mum, and hoping to keep it that way for some time. I one day hope to set up my own little photography business that will allow me to work my own hours and be here for my kids. For now I am doing a bit of photography on the side for friends and family. I would love to have one or two more children, just not sure when yet. Soon would be nice so we can be in a routine before my son starts school in 2011, but there is part of me that wants to wait because I never want this stage in my life to be over LOL. I am  a really creative person, I am always painting/fixing/improving things around our house. I love gardening too. I like things to look pretty...I am probably a little materialistic, but I really dont see it as a bad thing! I am EXTREMELY sentimental, I keep every little thing to remind myself of the special times in my life and I am constantly taking photos of my kids. I think it stems from not having a lot of memories/keepsakes from my own childhood. My mum just isnt like that but I wish she had been. I spend my days with my kids. Usually I go to the gym a few mornings a week and they come and hang out in the play area. We dont get out a whole lot, we love to just be at home. I try to catch up with friends and their kids once every few weeks. Part of me feels like I should make some more friends with kids my sons age but its so hard!!!! Especially being a younger mum. Well thats the basic stuff about me....I hope someone is reading this....:P I am trying hard to work this whole thing out :) Sarah xo

Select a type of fence for my mother-in-law,1
My girlfriend’s mum is living in the country, they have a large backyard and raise some livestock. So my girlfriend and I want to select a suitablewire mesh fence for her. However, as there are so many different types of fencing available, some research is necessary before coming to a decision.   First day, we see theChain link fencing, galvanized chain link fencingas it is sometimes called, is one of the less expensive solutions and can be coated with a colored vinyl. It is also available with a powder coated finish baked in an oven, providing a permanent, smooth finish that comes in many colors. But it is not solid enough to hold cattle. Some models are UV resistant and, with a glossy finish, are very low-maintenance. It is recommended to choose a model with panels thick enough to alleviate the problems of contraction and cracking due to extreme temperature fluctuations. A model with reinforced steel posts and rails will guarantee a superior installation. To be continued ….
